Woodruff, SC - Libertas Academy Woodruff is proud to announce the hiring of Samantha Wood as the school’s founding Principal ahead of its opening for the 2026-27 school year. Wood will support School Director, Celina Patton, in advancing the school’s mission of academic excellence.
Wood brings a wealth of educational leadership experience and a deep commitment to student support and achievement. She currently serves as Assistant Principal at Fairforest Elementary School, where she has led initiatives in instructional improvement, staff development, and student achievement. She holds a Master’s Plus 30 in Administration and Supervision from Lamar University, along with advanced degrees in Educational Technology and Elementary Education.
A dedicated servant leader, Wood is known for her student-centered approach and her ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and families. Her leadership experience includes managing large teams, coordinating school-wide programs, analyzing student data to drive academic growth, and fostering strong school-community partnerships.
